Hocking Hills is the destination for nature lovers. Located in Logan, Ohio, a visit to Hocking Hills is a great way to breathe fresh Ohio air and take in its beautiful summer scenery. The SON local arrangements committee is excited to offer an optional field trip to the destination during the conference on Wednesday, July 12^th. This trip will take attendees to Hocking Hills for an afternoon of sight-seeing and hiking at their leisure. Sack lunches will be provided. There is much to explore at the park, and many opportunities to learn about the natural history of this part of Ohio.

After spending the afternoon taking in the scenic park, attendees will be transported to a local brewery, about halfway between Columbus and Logan. At the venue, guests will enjoy an evening of food, drink, and music. It is the perfect way to wrap up a day of walking, exploring, and traveling.

Guests will return to Columbus after dinner and drinks, to get some rest before returning to the conference activities the next morning.
