The Society of Nematologists (SON) is an international organization formed to advance the science of nematology in both its fundamental and economic aspects. To serve this purpose, the Society of Nematologists acts as an agency for the exchange of information, holds regular meetings, and promotes and extends knowledge in all phases of nematology. The Society operates on a nonprofit basis exclusively for the accomplishment of these educational and scientific goals.

April 30^th - SON2025 Abstract submission deadline.

May 1^st - Increase in registration fees for SON2025.

June 12^th- Last day to secure hotel room block rate for SON2025

Webster Award

The Nathan A. Cobb Foundation is pleased to request nominations for The John M. Webster Outstanding Student Award for 2025.

This award is to recognize a graduate student in their final year of a Master’s or Ph.D. degree who has demonstrated outstanding accomplishments in his/her thesis research in Nematology as well as other skills necessary to be a well-rounded scholar.

The deadline for receiving nominations is midnight (Eastern Standard Time) on April 1, 2025.
