Experience the Buckeye State at the 62nd Annual Society of Nematologists on the beautiful campus of the Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio.

The meeting will be held July 9th – 13th and will include:

  • Plenary session focused on Ohio agriculture and nematodes.
  • An opportunity for students and post-docs to interact with industry in a social setting.
  • The opportunity to learn about the most recent scientific findings in the field of Nematology.
  • All breakfasts and lunches are included in the registration fee and provided at the conference hall.
  • Half-day field trip to Hocking Hills State Park.
  • Awards banquet on our last evening to celebrate our outstanding student scholars and presenters, the Syngenta Crop Protection Award for an early career scientist and a new Honorary Member!

Important Dates and DEADLINES

January 1, 2023 -  Call for Proposals for Symposia and Workshops. Submit your ideas here.

February 1, 2023 - Registration begins and Student Travel Award applications open

March 1, 2023 - Deadline for Symposia and Workshop proposals

March 17, 2023 - Symposia and Workshop announcement

April 1, 2023 -  Deadline to apply for Student Travel Awards; Nominations due for the John W. Webster Outstanding Student Award

April 30, 2023- Deadline for Abstract submissions (link to submit is emailed to you upon completing meeting registration)

May 1, 2023 - Last day to register for the Annual Meeting with early-bird pricing.

May 2, 2023 - Increase in Annual Meeting registration fees.

May 31, 2023 - Last day to book a room at the Graduate Hotel with our conference pricing.


We have arranged for a block of rooms at the Graduate Hotel. It is conveniently located in the heart of the Short North District with lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance and a short drive to campus or an easy ride on one of the complimentary bike rentals offered at the hotel. Also, this year we able to offer a more affordable housing option for our conference attendees. Single dorm rooms on the OSU campus equipped with a private bath, XL twin bed and linens will be available for approximately $70/night. The reservation link is still under construction and will be announced to all once it is ready.

Field Trip

Tour registration will be conducted under a separate event registration. When that link is ready, we will send out an email announcement.
