We are delighted to welcome you to Baltimore’s Inner Harbor for the 65^th Annual Conference of the Society of Nematologists, hosted in one of America’s most historic and character-rich cities, affectionately known as Charm City. Set along the Patapsco River, the Inner Harbor reflects Baltimore’s deep maritime roots and its centuries-old role in shaping the nation’s story.

Just minutes away is Fort McHenry, the birthplace of The Star-Spangled Banner, where Francis Scott Key was inspired to write the national anthem during the War of 1812. A celebratory Awards Banquet on our final evening to celebrate and recognize our outstanding student scholars, the Syngenta Crop Protection Awardee, a new SON Fellow and the announcement of our newest Honorary Member! This special evening will be enjoyed at the Maryland Science Center.

Your registration includes breakfasts, morning and afternoon coffee breaks, the opening reception, the poster session wine and cheese, and a plated banquet dinner.

Let's Play Ball!

The historic Camden Yards are adjacent to our hotel. The SON2026 Local Arrangements Committee has organized an optional outing for you to enjoy this opportunity to take in a professional league baseball game! Registration is limited and must be completed by May 15th.

This year we are holding the Industry Social and the field trip congruently. So you can register as an Industry Social attendee or as a Field Trip attendee. Both options are described below:

The Industry Social has historically been a social event specifically targeted to connecting young nematologists with our colleagues in Industry. Therefore, the Industry Social is limited to Industry Social sponsors, students and post-docs and will be held in a section separate from field trip attendees to promote Industry networking and career connections. Food will be provided by Industry Social sponsors for the Social attendees.

The Field Trip will be a chance to socialize and enjoy one of Americas favorite pastimes at the historic Camden Yards. A block of seats at a group rate has been reserved for us to sit together, however, attendees must register and pay for their ticket. Food and beverage are not provided. Feel free to bring your family and friends.
